Terms of use

Last updated October 10, 2026. These terms apply to Hole19Tally, made by Welch Properties.

Draft. These terms are being finalized and have not yet been reviewed by counsel. They may change before launch.

What the app is

Hole19Tally is a scorekeeper and game tracker for golfers. It records scores, applies handicap and game rules, and shows standings and amounts owed between people who agreed to a game. It is not a gambling service. It does not accept deposits, hold balances, process payments, pay out winnings or take any share of a pot. Nothing you buy in the app is a stake, credit or balance, and no purchase affects the outcome of any game.

Your responsibilities

Accounts and text messages

An account is optional. If you make one, you agree to receive one-time text messages to verify your mobile number and to secure your account (sign-in on a new device, password reset, number change and account deletion). Message and data rates may apply. We send no marketing texts. You are responsible for keeping your password and recovery code safe and for telling us if you lose your phone. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Accuracy

We work to apply rules and handicaps correctly, but results depend on the scores and settings entered and on course data that may be out of date. Check important results against the official scorecard. Course data comes from third parties and is marked unverified until you confirm it.

Subscriptions and purchases

Premium and Tournament passes are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your store account settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Free trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies. You can restore purchases from Settings.

Your content

You keep the content you enter. You give us permission to store and show it as needed to run the features you use, such as showing scores and messages to other players in an event.

No warranty and limits of liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Welch Properties is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any dispute between players about a game or an amount owed.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new date here. Governing law will be stated here before launch. Questions: the support contact shown on this page once it is published.
