Hole19Tally is a golf game guide and scorekeeper: it explains the games golfers play together and keeps the score, so the arithmetic never gets in the way of the round.
Why we built it
It started with a real annual golf outing: dozens of players, two-man teams, flights playing different formats and one organizer with a spreadsheet. Building the scorecards took days and tallying the games and the points took the night. The organizer was the last person to reach the 19th hole.
The same problem exists in every regular foursome, in smaller form. Somebody keeps the card, somebody argues about a stroke and a press gets forgotten. We wanted one place that gets the rules right, shows what is at stake before the first tee, and does the counting once.
What it is
A scorekeeper. It applies handicap strokes, runs the rules of fifteen group games, tallies outings and shows standings and who owes whom. The website is the free half of the idea: every game explained, with calculators, cheat sheets and a glossary.
What it is not
Hole19Tally is a scorekeeper. It records scores, works out strokes and shows who owes whom, but it never holds, moves or takes a share of money, and it is not a gambling service. Players settle up directly with each other.
This website
This site has no cookies, no tracking, no analytics and no ads. Its calculators and demos run in your browser. The only data it can receive is the organizer form on the outings page, which stores the name, email, event size and month you type in, and which you can ask us to delete. See the privacy policy.
