Before you leave

  • Printed scorecards, tee sheets and pairing sheets
  • Pens and a few spare pencils
  • Rules sheet and the list of contests
  • Prize table and the prizes
  • Signs for the registration table and contests
  • Charger and a power bank for the scoring phone or tablet

At check-in

  • Tick off each player and collect any unpaid fees
  • Hand out cards, cart assignments and the rules sheet
  • Confirm each team and flight
  • Share the join code or QR so players can open live scoring
  • Explain how contests and the live board work

On the course

  • Check that the first groups are scoring
  • Resolve rules questions in one place
  • Note any hole changes or weather delays
  • Send one announcement if the schedule changes
  • Confirm contest winners as they happen

After the round

  • Collect any paper cards and check them against live scores
  • Confirm the results with flight captains
  • Put the clubhouse screen on or prepare the results
  • Present awards and prizes
  • Thank sponsors and volunteers

The day after

  • Send the results and the recap
  • Share who owes whom for any side games
  • Note what to change next year
  • Copy this event as the start of next year's
